This deployment option brings fibre connectivity to individual office units. It is most suitable for business parks and office buildings where very high bandwidth data services are required. This is the lower cost fibre deployment option in small office buildings and typical business parks.

Fiwave offers a Point to Point Ethernet solution for Fibre-to-the-office delivering 1 Gbps of bandwidth to each office unit. The solution utilises standard off-the-shelf components from established equipment vendors. The solution supports all required access network functionality such as QoS, user identification by physical port and multiple services per port. The solution consists of:

• Customer premises equipment (CPE) for fibre termination, remote management and demarcation located in the office unit
• Access network equipment for connecting all offices to the network (inc. metro ethernet switch)
• Passive equipment such as cables, splices, ODFs, patch cords, etc.

As part of the solution we would typically design and build the data and voice services that run on the network.
